The Avro Vulcan

The Avro Vulcan was a heavy strategic bomber with subsonic speed from the British aircraft manufacturer A.V.
Roe and Company. The device with characteristic delta wings flew for the first time on August 30, 1952 and it became
from 1956 to 1984 used by the Royal Air Force as part of the nuclear deterrent force.
The aircraft remained operational until the mid-1980s.
Only after the Falkland War, in which they successfully participated in Operation Black Buck
(the bombing of Argentine troops and supplies at the airport at Port Stanley), they were put out of service.

The Vulcans were operational for the following parts.No. 9 Squadron, RAF Marham base
No. 12 Squadron base RAF Lossiemouth
No. 27 Squadron base RAF Scampton
No. 35 Squadron base RAF Waddington
No. 44 Squadron base RAF Waddington
No. 50 Squadron base RAF Waddington
No. 83 Squadron base RAF Brize Norton
No. 101 Squadron base RAF Lossiemouth
No. 617 Squadron base RAF Lossiemouth

No. 230 Operational Conversion Unit

Started with Military Aircraft photography in September 1968, first in Black White since May 1980 I switched over to Kodakchrome slides,
from those years I got Corespontents all over the world and started exchanging with my slides.
1 Dutch F-104 for 1 say Japanese F-104, it took such a big forms that I got over 50 corespondents.
After about 40 years I now share those pictures with everyone on the internet, especially because they got nice photos to show.
One problem, often I do not know who made the slides/photos after 35 years so I call them: archive www.f-a-p.nl
If I know the photographer, I mention it naturally.
Much Pleasure, Siete.
