Wandlitz

The object was a helicopter landing pad and bunkers  including distribution centre and a refuge for members of the Central Committee. Built  only three kilometers away from the Waldsiedlung .The Purpose of this bunker complex was mainly for the secured evacuation of the 31  members of the sequrity counsel in the direction of the Airbase Marxwalde where the Tu-134 were located.

Within Waldsiedlung Wandlitz there were two bunkers type 2Vb
On the edge (outer ring) of Waldsiedlung was a bunker built in 1968 for the staff of the Ministry for State Security (Stasi) and (family members). A major bunker with a high degree of protection in the area.
The environment with the surrounding nature had been changed . So the bunker was covered with a cover 2 meters of earth and covered with shrubs. 
There were 2 moving horizontal blinds on tracks that served as protection for the two to exit stairways. /
