Carinhall was a representative estate of the Reichsmarschall and leading National Socialist Hermann Goering. The name of the estate refers to Göring's first wife, the 1931 deceased Carin Göring, née Freiin Fock, divorced from Kantzow, with whom he was married in 1923. The property was located in the Schorfheide between Großdöllner See and Wuckersee, near Groß Dölln in the north of the present state of Brandenburg. Architect of the built after 1933 in several stages neohistoristischen [1] building complex was initially Werner March, the creator of the Berlin Olympic Stadium. Later Friedrich Hetzelt took over the construction

Looks back on a changeful past.
It was built in the years 1934/1935 on behalf of Hermann Göring for his "Leibjäger"
Willi Schade.
The property initially served as a guesthouse for Goering's hunting lodge Carinhall,
which used to be on the southeastern shore of Lake Dölln
