Alt Daber

In the dark catacombs of the old Airbase "alt daber"
Spiders,rats and bats are now at home there.
And the access to the cinema is very blocked.
It is said that there has been an underground
command post from the Luftwaffe,the underground cinema,
"The room is under water," we had read.
There are four steps to the basement
a space for 200 people in the former cinema.
When searching with our flashlights through the cellar it is difficult,
many corridors and rooms,
in the darkness of the earth and that the stairs

Near it current state to us knowledge was This AU-11 Aircraft-Shelter is a special one, content a  storage  facility or comando Bunker.   (Navo type-A)  built from 1967 till 1970. Note the small brick stones on the front site,  width 10,80-m  depth 20-m  216-Mē  In total  there were 40 AU-11 and 36  AU-13 (2) Shelters. In 1989 they built 3 AU-19 but they  where never completed. One Granit for the Nucleair armament.  Close to the Airbase some Bunkers for Aircraft armament and ground to air missele`s Type "Newa" The following Aircraft where based  here: MiG-29, MiG-29UB, MiG-23UB .
